Students in the Miami Dade County School District are no longer eligible to purchase school accident insurance coverage through School Insurance of Florida after August 1st, 2008.
The Miami Dade County School District has elected to offer insurance through a different agency for the 2008-2009 school term.

Student insurance enrollment applications and any payments received by School Insurance of Florida after August 1st, 2008  will be returned to the sender and no coverage will be available through School Insurance of Florida.

School Insurance of Florida will still handle the processing of student accident insurance claims that occurred prior to August 1st, 2008.
